About the event
On behalf of the 1881 HBCU Blue Legacy Sisters, we are excited to release the applications for three $1000 scholarships for a Spelman Freshman, one HBCU Freshman scholar, and one HBCU Upperclassman.  We volunteered with The Breakfast Klub to support their HBCU Freshman Send-Off last year and look forward to announcing our three $1,000 scholarships at this year’s event on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
1881 HBCU Blue Legacy is excited to offer the Houston Community and HBCU Scholars more opportunities in our 2023 – 2024 season. Our Scholarships are open to all Houston Area HBCU Scholars. Please feel free to pass the word and share this application with your family and friends.  The deadline to apply is Friday, July 21, 2023.
