Crystal LaShan Toussant
President
Crystal LaShan Toussant is a Spelman College Alumna C'95 and presently a Masters scholar in the Texas Southern University School of Communications set to graduate in 2026. Crystal has been a Theater, Speech, and Debate Educator for over twenty years. She is also a Professional Writer, Producer, and Director for her Arts and Entertainment Company, Crystalized Productions. Crystal is passionate about serving her community and mentoring our youth to achieve their greatest potential.
Ingrim Mitchem
Vice President
Ingrim Mitchem is a Texas Southern University Alumni, C'2014 and earned her MBA Degree in 2019 . Ingrim is the Constituent Services Director for the City of Houston District D Office. She is also a Board Member for the Houston League of Business and Professional Women, Inc. where she loves to promote the importance of Entreprenship and business growth for underserved populations.
Dr. Amna Plummer Mays
Treasurer
Dr. Amna Plummer Mays is a Spelman College Alumna C'95. Amna entered Tuskegee University and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She is the owner of Critter Care Animal Hospital (CCAH). Dr. Plummer Mays loves caring for animals and giving Animal lovers quality care for their beloved pets.

Vanessa Darko is a Spelman College Alumna C'92. Vanessa is a Keller Williams Realtor and author of The Noah Challenge. She takes great pride in helping her clients find the perfect home for their families.

Lea Rutherford is a Spelman College Alumna C'95. Lea is an authority in the fields of leadership, education, empowerment, as well as personal and professional development. She began her teaching career in Houston, Texas, and she is transparently sharing her life, instilling wisdom and igniting people to growth and change.
